Tomatoes
In 1997, researchers at California State University conducted a trial using GrowPlex™ on tomatoes in Fresno, California.
Protocol:
The trial consisted of two treatments. The first treatment, Control, included the Grower’s standard fertility program. The second treatment, GrowPlex, included the Grower’s standard fertility program and GrowPlex® added at a rate of 4 oz per acre as a drench treatment, then 2 oz per acre at bloom.
Results:
Treated rows experienced as much as a 27% increase in yield with GrowPlex® compared to the control.
Treated rows that received a foliar application of GrowPlex® experienced larger plant canopies than control rows and rows that received only a drench treatment of GrowPlex®.
