Sweet Corn
In 1997, researchers at the University of Florida conducted a trial using GrowPlex™ on sweet corn in Gainesville.
Protocol:
The trial consisted of two treatments. The first treatment, Control, included the Grower’s standard fertility program. The second treatment, GrowPlex, included the Grower’s standard fertility program and GrowPlex® added at a rate of 4 oz per acre in 4 applications during the growing season.
Observations
Treated rows experienced as much as a 69% increase in dry bushel weight with GrowPlex® compared to the control.
Treated rows experienced early health and vigor, which carried through to harvest and resulted in higher yield and net return.
